Moving to United Kingdom
The UK follows a structured pet import system under the Pet Travel Scheme (PETS). With proper preparation, pets can enter the UK without quarantine. Meeting vaccination, microchipping, and health certificate requirements is essential for a smooth relocation.

Key Requirements ✅
  • ISO-compliant microchip (before vaccination)
  • Valid rabies vaccination (given at least 22 days before import)
  • Specific UK Animal Health Certificate (AHC)
  • Pets may arrive to UK border points by Air, ferry or Euro tunnel. If by air the pets must arrive as "manifested cargo". In cabin or excess baggage travel is not allowed.
  • Tapeworm treatment for dogs (if applicable)

All relocations are managed under veterinary supervision, with a priority on health, welfare and safety at every step.

Accurate documentation is critical for entry into the UK. This includes health certificates, vaccination records, and compliance with PETS regulations to avoid delays.

Health Checks & Vaccinations

Pets must be vaccinated against rabies and declared fit for travel by an authorised veterinarian. Health checks must be completed within the required timeframe before travel.
